JUNGLE BOB'S WORKSHOP

It's all well and good finding aircraft wrecks and recovering them, but with this comes a level of responsibility for the person recovering these items to ensure the future disposition of these machines.  To this end, some recovered airframes find their way into museums, others find homes with suitable custodians (since we never actually 'own' artifacts like these) who will look after them and in some cases, restore them to flying condition. And then there are those that Jungle Bob takes it upon himself to restore 'in-house'. Along the way, he has also agreed to restore other aircraft for friends who caught him in a weak moment!  For this reason, there is a broad range of work taking place at the present time, covering a diverse mix of aircraft types. Robert is planning to reduce the range of types that he will take on in the future, just choosing to focus on a handful of his favourites, like the P-38, P-47 and Beaufighter.
